Tech Specs

Capacity 80 standing (including performers) / max 60 seats Our stage is 3520mm wide and 3650mm deep.
Venue hire
Bands: No venue hire Private event: $300
Lineup
Performers arrange full lineup, to be approved by Banshees prior to booking confirmation.
We usually have 2-3 performers per night. If you want more than 3 performers, contact us for approval first. Banshees loves to promote diverse voices, so please keep that in mind when organising your event.
Load in / Set Times
Load in is from 5pm Fri-Sat or 3pm Sun
Set times are to be decided by the performer, we recommend being flexible with your start time as our crowd can arrive late.
Fri/Sat:
We suggest aiming for sets at 8, 9 and 10pm and potentially playing 30-40 minutes later.
Doors open at 7pm, music has to be finished by midnight.
Sun:
We suggest aiming for sets at 6, 7 and 8pm and potentially playing 30-40 minutes later.
Doors open at 5pm, we are flexible with our close time but everyone has to be out by midnight.
Production
Banshees provides a PA, Engineer, 3 DIs, a 4x12 8ohm guitar cab, a four tom Pearl Export kit, Roland FP30 Digital piano and use a 24 channel Soundcraft rack-mounted digital desk.
Projections behind the performer can be provided on request.
Performer to provide bass amp, any extra guitar amps needed, snare and cymbals. Please arrange to share amps with other performers if possible as storage space is limited at the venue.
Sound Check
Sound check will be between 5pm and 7pm, whenever the bands are ready. Otherwise we will line check each band before they play. No full sound checks after 7pm. (Fri/Sat)
Sunday sound check times are flexible.
Ticket sales
Price to be chosen by the performer, ticketing set up by venue.
There is a $1 credit card fee taken from every sale made at the venue, and a fee scale for every ticket sale on our website, see table below.
We can sell merch through our system, and 100% of merch sales will go to the bands.
A summary will be emailed to you on the Monday after your show, and the amount will be paid to your nominated bank account once you've provided me with an invoice.
We suggest a $10 presale and $15 door price, but are flexible depending on your choice.
Venue setup of online ticketing is non-negotiable.
Door Person
Performer to provide door person, or venue can provide at $25/ph ($100-125 fee)
If there are fewer than 10 presale tickets available before the event, Banshees will provide a door person.
Promotion
Banshees will create Facebook event and invite performers as co-hosts.
We will include the event in our “just announced” post on Instagram, advertise the show as part of “what’s on this month” and make several feature posts in the two weeks leading up to the show. We print posters for display around the venue at no cost.
On request, the venue can list your event on the Australian Tourism Database.
Banshees has an in-house graphic designer and can create your poster for you, at no cost. If you choose to create your own, please provide a POSTER, a SQUARE and a FACEBOOK BANNER.
Beyond this, advertising is the responsibility of the performer.

Exclusivity
Please do not book another show in the Ipswich CBD within 3 weeks of your gig at Banshees.
Inclusivity
Do not include any sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic or bigoted content in your performance.
